Roma Fence Ltd
Roma Fence Ltd was officially established in the summer of 1969 by our president, Tony Marra. This family-run fencing business all started in the basement of a semi-detached home in North York.
1970
First Industrial Unit
After many complaints from neighbours, our president rented a small industrial unit in Concord, ON.
1972
Moving On Up
Roma Fence was growing quickly. We moved into a two-acre site on Hwy 50 in Brampton, ON.
1980
Space to Grow
In 1980, we moved to a 10,000-square-foot facility, built to our ever-growing requirements, on two acres of property on Cadetta Road in Brampton.
1993
Roma Fence (East) Inc
Roma Fence (East) Inc. was born located in Gormley, ON.
1995
Chain Link Fence
We started manufacturing our own chain link fence.
1998
Custom Iron Division
We purchased a small custom iron company that was manufacturing and installing custom iron railings and fences which then became our custom iron division, Prestige Iron Works.
2001
Roma Fence (West) Inc
Roma Fence (West) Inc. Roma West was born, located in Milton, ON.
2007
Manufacturing Division
Our manufacturing division moved to 10 Holland Dr in Bolton, ON, the 65,000-square-foot building our main office resides in today.
2012
Advanced Entry Systems of Canada Inc.
Our automation division, Advanced Entry Systems of Canada Inc. joined the Roma Fence Group of Companies.

Roma Fence is founded upon principles of honesty and integrity and has built a reputation that has earned the respect of the fence association and its members, the general public, local landscapers, developers, and municipalities. We carry a full line of chain link, wrought iron, farm products, safety and snow fence, p.v.c. products, and accessories. Roma Fence provides a ‘one-stop shop’ carrying concrete products, installation tools, and related fence products geared towards the installation process.

Our President Tony Marra, then 18 years of age, in his home, established Roma Fence Ltd. in 1969 as a family-run residential fencing business. As the business expanded, so did the demand for space; moving first to a small unit in Concord, Ontario, then to a location South of Bolton, and finally into a brand new building and warehouse along with an open storage area, in January 1984. Phenomenal growth has taken Roma Fence from a tiny family-run shop to Ontario’s largest fencing company.
In early 1991, Roma Fence (East) Inc. was born. Located in Gormley, ON, Roma East has serviced the East end with a full line of products and services. Our East end location deals with both retail and dealer sales, along with residential and light commercial installations.
In late 2001, Roma Fence opened our third location in Milton; Roma Fence (West) Inc. Roma West serves Western Ontario in retail and dealer sales, as well as residential and light commercial installations.
Roma Fence is a proud distributor for our very own manufacturing division. All of our chain link mesh and ornamental iron products are produced at our own facility located in Bolton, ON.
We manufacture chain link fence, chain link fence ties, bottom wire, agricultural fence, and ornamental iron fencing. We purchased two new gate bending machines so we can fabricate our own residential chain link gate frames as well as produce farm gate frames. We have a full line of ornamental iron fence for both residential and commercial applications, as well as a full line of agricultural fence products. Our 948-12-9.75 and 949-12-12-1/2 Class 3 Product Lines are now MTO approved. Roma has introduced 6 new diamond mesh sizes to our standard 1½”, 2″ and 1 ¾” chain link fence mesh sizes. We are proudly producing mini-mesh in the sizes of ⅝”, ¾”, 1″, 1¼”, 3″, and 4″.
Our newest division is Advanced Entry Systems of Canada. Advanced Entry Systems focuses on the technical side of the fencing industry, specializing in gate automation and access control systems. This division carries a full line of inventory with products ranging from replacement parts for repairs through elaborate automation and access control systems, electro mechanical to hydraulic operators, and every accessory to make a complete system.
Roma Fence has been built on the recommendations of our satisfied customers. Our reputation is based on high-quality materials, expert workmanship, and an honest assessment of customer needs.
Roma Fence is an active member of the Canadian Fence Industry Association, American Fence Association, Toronto Construction Association, Landscape Ontario, and the Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance. Roma Fence is both bonded and insured.
